This is the page for all those that
like good food, or at least have some culinary interest.
Good fish along the Ligurian Sea Coast. Of course pizza and
pasta. Something sweet here and there and "caffé" -
a shot or two of espresso - any time of the day.
Enjoy. Dig in.

These were so beautiful on my plate
last night at L'Arcere here in San Giovanni. The meal was fabulous.
(The visual of these veggies reminded me of a man's vintage
plaid suit.)

From the top down: calamata olive,
pomodoro/tomato, a little spicier veggie mix, beef liver paté.

I hate to say it,
but I've had much better panini in Seattle: more flavorful,
and a more interesting combination of ingredients. Not
just two pieces of dry bread with a thin slice of ham and
of cheese. |
A complimentary "snack" from 14:00 - 19:00 every day included
wine, water, pasta, fish, beans, potatoes, pesta and other deliciously
prepared food. Very kind people own and run the hotel. |
Walking by this outdoor restaurant and seeing
this lovely stew, I just had to grab a shot. All sorts
of seafood in this pot! |

I just thought it was pretty.
I didn't actually order one.

When it's 100 degrees along the Ligurian Sea, some coconut
gelato tastes great. (When wouldn't it?)

A pretty ho-hum
toasted sandwich, but it did the job.

Gnocchi di batata
con verduri e salso di tomati. Acqua Panna (Minerale naturale).
Pane con ricotta.
Espresso e dolci.
