Light in a Skinny Kitchen

The mid-afternoon sunlight is coming into my almost-three-foot-wide, skinny kitchen and it strikes me as so beautiful. It’s almost a black and white shot, except for that delicious green mug, a sprinkling of red, painted petals on another mug, and red pepper lip stains on the cotton napkin. Nothing contrived or set up, yet it is all so perfect. I smile.

Delightful journal and great photos as i knew they would be. The little private garden spot is a small paradise. Leave it to you to set up a still life. Were you cloned by Matisse?

Of course you can well imagine I went down on the floor laughing. Now just who else but you would have “The Pieta” on her microwave???? You must take a still of this one .

    Enjoy every moment, Mo.

Helen, doesn’t everyone set up a still life in their kitchen? And “The Pietá” was already sitting right there, which amused me, too, so I left it. I think I’ll go out and pull weeds in my little garden space, just to “nest”.
